Lil Packaging – Huntingdon

This project has consisted of fit out works to a large 58,000.0 sq ft factory and 3 floors of offices. We designed a new LED lighting scheme to serve this Factory space and associated controls to cater for the clients busy manufacturing business. This scheme also afforded us to consider a more environmentally friendly approach to external car park lighting where we designed, supplied and installed a new solar lighting installation which exceeded the clients expectations as well as going a long way to helping them achieve their coveted zero carbon foot print.

This project allowed KDG to showcase our skills at the more industrial end of the market in order to cater for the plethora of machines and equipment utilized by the client which needed to be taken account of in this challenging but massively rewarding project.

Project Works Consisting of:

  • Extensive strip out works.
  • Installation of a new lighting trunking installation to the full Factory area
  • Design, supply and install of a new factory high bay, standard and emergency lighting installation complete with luminaire mounted, daylight switching, PIR control to maximise energy efficiency and reduce running costs.
  • A new mains distribution system including main 1,600a MCCB panel and multiple sub mains.
  • Factory high and low level containment, serving power requirements throughout the warehouse
  • Power supplies to multiple large items of machinery.
  • Design, supply, and installation of a new LED solar powered car park lighting installation with integral controls
  • Outside standard and emergency lighting
  • Design supply and installation works to the small power and lighting systems serving the offices.
  • Ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, above ground drainage and heating works to the offices.
  • The installation of a full fire alarm system to the warehouse and offices.
